Jayne is Company Secretary of FTSE 250 listed Auction Technology Group plc. ATG, which successfully IPOd in 2021, is an operator of curated online auctions, having supported the auction industry in many guises since 1971. ATG won the award of “Tech Business of the Year” at the 2022 PLC awards.
Jayne has worked in the company secretarial and corporate governance field for over 30 years. A Fellow of the Corporate Governance Institute, Jayne has first-hand experience of the transferability of the CoSec role, having worked in a number of very different sectors over the years, both in-house and in professional services roles. With a particular fondness for newly listed companies, in her previous role as an Associate Director at Link Group, Jayne worked closely with companies going through IPO, helping them to prepare for life as a listed company and embedding their corporate governance framework.
James studied Law at the National University of Ireland Galway where he graduated in June 2021. He joined the Link Group Company Matters Exeter team as a trainee Company Secretary in August of that same year. Now in his position as Assistant Consultant James has a key interest in the technical side of the role – working on corporate governance updates, company secretarial reports and anything research based.
Henry graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Business Management. He initially managed the Company Secretarial desk at a large FTSE250 recruitment business and in March 2021, Henry joined the company secretarial recruitment specialist, The Core Partnership, where he has continued to recruit for positions across all ranges of seniority.
Henry has seen the function grow in increasing importance across all industries and is passionate about promoting the profession to aspiring company secretaries. His drive to go above and beyond for clients and candidates has been recognised in the market, and senior industry figures have offered recommendations for his recruitment services describing him as a role model in the sector.
Kathy is an experienced company secretary and governance professional with over 19 years’ experience. Prior to joining Company Matters as its Managing Director, she was Equiniti Group plc’s Company Secretary for four years and then led EQ’s company secretarial and governance services business, Prism Cosec. Kathy has also worked in-house for Investec plc, a dual-listed international banking and wealth management group, for over 13 years.
With extensive international governance experience, Kathy is an expert in Financial Services, Risk Management, Due Diligence, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Corporate Governance. She is dynamic, versatile and commercially focused and highly skillful in a broad range of areas; successfully leading teams and creating efficiencies in working practices, with a particular emphasis on corporate governance, board support, regulatory and statutory compliance, subsidiary management, share options and managing change and transformation in fast growth companies.
